Jack Svendgard, a sophomore, shared his thoughts about the Bikers vs. Surfers homecoming dress-up event. Jack attended Sunlake High School for his freshman year and is now a avid participator in our spirit events. Jack dressed up as a biker, stating “At first I was gonna go as a surfer, but then… like I was too afraid to wear a wig in front of other people.” At first, Jack  hesitated about dressing up at all; he told me “I think it’s always nerve-wracking when you are wearing something new and different in front of other people because you never know what they are thinking”. Something we all can relate to! Jack did go on to say that dressing up did, in the end, get him excited for homecoming.
