Catherine Carey, a senior, played her last game of basketball in high school and said her "...emotions were all over the place." It was a sad experience, but she was so proud of her accomplishments. Catherine and the others girl won, and she even got a season record.

Senior Emilia Rodriguez was prepared and eager to return to school. After two weeks off, Emilia wanted to return to her normal routine. She said, "I am eager to reunite with some of my closest friends..." back at school.

Kaycie Hyde, a junior, is a very skilled player on the girls' varsity basketball team. When asked about her favorite position, Kaycie said, "I prefer to the point guard position the most." This position is vital for the team as she must be a strong dribbler and passer.

Senior Promise Walker went head-to-head with another senior to test their knowledge of Sunlake's expectations. She was encouraged to participate after hearing there would be prizes for winners. This way of teaching is so much more engaging for students, which makes a dull experience full.

Danny Storchevyi and Olivia Sutton were crowned homecoming king and queen at this year's homecoming game. These seniors had run before, but were still so excited and shocked to win. This was a great way to celebrate the seniors' last homecoming.
