Sofia Perez is a senior at Sunlake and she recently painted her senior parking spot. Sofia had been looking forward to this day for weeks and was so excited to finally get to paint. Sofia’s original parking spot theme was gonna relate to Mamma Mia. When faced with some complications, Sofia scratched that idea and came up with something else super quickly. When asked what she would have done if she could have done something differently Sofia states, “I would have done my second design first because the first design was really complicated.” Sofia ended up deciding to do her name in the middle of a bunch of triangle shapes.  Sofia used tape to make the triangles and used four different colors and alternated the triangles. Sofia used a dark blue, a light blue, a red and a magenta color to paint her spot. She wanted to incorporate her favorite colors into her senior parking spot. It took Sofia two days to paint her spot. She had the help of her parents and some friends to paint her parking spot in only two days. Even though she was faced with some complications Sofia loves the outcome of her parking spot and is so happy that she chose the idea that she did.
