Painting a parking spot is an activity most students look forward to all throughout high school. The idea is having a spot that is just for you, and it is known that its yours by your personal design. One of such seniors is Claudia Montealegre. To Claudia, painting a parking spot shows how much she has grown and how life moves faster then you notice. Claudia said that she painted a river leading up to the mountains. To her, her painting represents a, “journey and a path to follow.” Her inspiration for this painting was, “the Lord’s creation of the Colorado mountains and its gorgeous rivers.” While painting the parking spot, Claudia said it was very hot but, at the same time was a very fulfilling experience and she had a lot of fun doing it with all of her friends around. The whole experience for her was very rewarding and exciting. Claudia said that while her parking spot did not turn out fully how she had imaged it to look, it was still a great experience. she enjoyed every moment of it.
