One thing Sunlake Seniors look forward to most is painting their parking spot, and Haylie Chambliss made hers one of a kind. In her spot, Haylie chose to free- hand flowers in her favorite colors. Using inspiration pictures from Pinterest, Haylie painted her space throughout a combination very hot and rainy days this summer with the help of her dad. She says, “I had so much fun with my friends as well, and seeing their parking spots!” Haylie’s parking spot painting was the very first senior activity that she participated in, so the process of her painting it symbolized the beginning of her senior year. She mentions that, “At the end of the year, when we paint over our spaces, that will symbolize the end of high school for me.” Overall, painting her parking space will be a very memorable first activity of her senior year. In the end, she exclaimed that, “I really liked my space in the end! I don’t think it could have come out any better, and was exactly the type of space that I wanted for my senior year!”
