The first day of senior year isn’t just another day, it’s the beginning to an end. Abigail Horta is a senior at Sunlake high school, planning to make every day count. “It was really bittersweet, I’m happy I’m on my last year of high school, but it’s sad knowing I won’t have these people around me next year,” Abigail says. She is excited to see what life gives her next, while also appreciating the people who have made her last four years memorable. She is thrilled to start her new classes, including her favorite class, theatre.
“My favorite class is theatre because I get to hang out with my friends while doing things I enjoy.” She stated. Abigail is also interested in learning about her World Cinema class, and is excited to watch and explore new films. Additionally, she is looking forward to joining the astronomy club this year, hoping to dive into her passion of space. After high school, Abigail has clear plans for her future. “I plan on going to UCF in the fall and majoring in marketing,” she shares. Feeling both excited and nostalgic, She is determined to make the most out of her final year in high school.
