Kevin Plaza is an awesome senior at Sunlake and he is ready for an exciting new year. On August 12th, Kevin strolled onto Sunlake High school campus for his last first-day, ready to set the tone for a great year, and for his new schedule. “I got a lot of my friends in every single one of my classes,” Kevin said. Not to mention, Kevin was also excited to be taking online classes off campus with FLVS, “I leave early, so it’s even better”.
Of course, Kevin was feeling super inspired about his senior year. “I’m looking forward to graduating and moving on to the next chapter of my life,” he said. Senior year is an action-packed and fun year, getting seniors ready to choose a path after graduation. Senior year can also be full of funny moments as well, and Kevin shared a laugh from the first day, saying “I figured out I’m the only senior in chemistry”.
On the other hand, senior year also comes with sad feelings, and this is no different for Kevin. “It was really nice seeing my friends but also sad knowing that it might be my last year seeing all of them”.
All in all, Kevin is an amazing senior, excited and ready for his last year and all the fun, sad or exciting times that come with it.
