Last week Dominic Burroughs, a junior, had the amazing pleasure of participating in Sunlake’s PBIS spirit week. Dominic is an awesome student at Sunlake high school, and he really loves getting to be a part of his school for spirit week. Dominic joined in to be a part of Wednesday’s sports and athletic attire day. He wore a 2018-2022 Tampa Bay Lightning alternate jersey. When asked what Dom likes about spirit week, he said “Mostly the colors, but I like being able to wear what I want”.
Dominic says “mental health means a lot to me” and he is sure to stay on top of it by playing and watching lots of sports, like hockey and BMX. “Sports are important to me and they are a lot fun”. Not to mention, Dom also said “I like eating food and hanging out with my friends”. On Wednesday, Dominic posed with some friends who were also showing their spirit, each wearing Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Phillies gear to support their favorite teams! All in all, Dominic is an awesome student who really loves to show his spirit.
