Jacob Varney is a Senior at Sunlake High School. Sunlake has been nothing but fun for him so far, as he said, “My time so far at Sunlake has been a good experience, definitely different than my previous private school but that’s a good thing. The teachers that I have met so far are overall pretty nice and caring.” As he reflects on his time at Sunlake, his senior year is here, and one of the first things they do is go to Senior Sunrise. There are food and photo opportunities at Senior Sunrise, and of course they get watch the sunrise. Jacob ended up going to Senior Sunrise, and he said that overall, “It was good because first off it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and as a senior, it made an impact to start my final year of High school. I was surrounded by my friends and good people, good food, niceĀ volunteers, and a beautiful sunrise.” It was a lot for Jacob to take in but he said the best part was “Just eating with my friends and watching the sun as it rose. The whole point of Senior Sunrise was the best part.” He also added that, “Senior sunrise had a great significance to me, as it was my first day as a new student at Sunlake High School, and will be one of my memories I will look back on.” It was just overall a great experience for Jacob, and it being his last year as a High schooler it is something he will never forget.
