Serafima Chebotareva, Junior; talks about her Labor Day experience. Serafima is from the Republic of Bashkortostan, the city of Sterlitamak, Russia. She loves to play the piano. She has been playing the, “…piano for 7-8 years…” She says, “I have always had a passion for music, and my mom and my teacher from elementary helped me develop the skills that I obtain now.” Right now, she is currently learning “Interstellar” on the piano as she says it’s “…one of the best creations of Hans Zimmer to inspire the world.” She also loves to learn new languages. She speaks English and Russian fluently and is trying to learn Spanish, Chinese, German, French, Portuguese, Korean, and much more. She also loves to write poems, novels, and stories as she say’s, “They help me carve the inspiration from the world to look at it at different types of angles.” She also received her photography mastery certificate for her creative photography class as she has incorporated, “…and delighted to model, create, and portray the visual arts to inspire our society.”. For her Labor Day she said “…it was amazingly busy because I was moving to another place.” For her Labor Day, she helped her parents, “…transfer all our furniture and possessions to our new home, and then I helped my family order all our stuff and decorate our new place.” When asked if there was anything that excited her on Labor Day, she replied by saying, “…the planning out and creating the decorations and designs for our new bedroom with my twin sister went awesome…” She also said that she started working on her academic achievements during the break, as it helps her stay on track and motivated.
