Every year at Sunlake high school, each class organizes a play before homecoming that’s called Skit. Skit is one of the many homecoming events we do that leads up to the dance. Gwyn Taylor is a sophomore in the class of 2027, she is the class’s president and also participates in all the events during homecoming week. When asked what her favorite thing about skit is she said, “My favorite thing about skit is the dances, and the creativity of the scripts and backdrops.” She choose to do skit this year because, “I’m in student council and I had a lot of fun doing it last year! It’s a really good way to meet people and try something new.” Skit helps a lot of people make new friends and try new things. She is most excited, “To watch the other classes skit and show them what we’ve been working on.” Skit this year is on Wednesday, October 2nd, at 6:00 pm in the Sunlake stadium and anyone can come out and watch each class preform their play that they have been working on. Skit is another way to bring all the classes together to show their spirt as a collective.
