Addison Boehmer, senior, spent her first day of school going to Senior Sunrise. She enjoyed her first last day of high school with her friends and took, “many photos that we can look back on knowing that was the day we started senior year.” Senior Sunrise is an event where you have breakfast, take photos with your friends, and watch the sunrise at school. Addison is excited to be a senior, knowing that she is almost done, and, “ready to chase what lies ahead.” Addison is excited to create new memories with her friends this year and will have a great last year of high school before she begins a new chapter of her life. Her favorite memory of high school was, “making the cheerleading team for the fourth year.” High school is special because there are so many paths you can take and learn from. It also helps you connect with people and create tons of memories with people throughout all four years of high school. Addison said, “It feels so surreal that I am a senior. I feel like just weeks ago I was a freshman walking into my first period.” High school holds so many memories that you can look back on in the future and see how far you have come. Senior Sunrise is such a fun event where you get to talk to people and look back on all that you have accomplished throughout high school.

Katie Kraszka, Staffer
My name is Katie Kraszka, and I am a sophomore at Sunlake! This is my first year as a staffer for the 2024-2025 yearbook and school newspaper. I love writing stories about the students at our school and any events we have here. I love spending time with my friends, family and going to the gym. I am excited to work on more articles as the year continues and learn more about what goes into our school's yearbook!
