Labor-day was an enjoyable 3-day weekend for many, including sophomore Kayleigh Karr. She spent most of her break at a soccer tournament. Kayleigh has been playing soccer for a while, so she’s used to the sport taking up most of her time. However, she doesn’t mind kicking off her weekend on the field!
Kayleigh was really happy that she got to spend the Labor-Day holiday with her team. She said, “My favorite part is when we won our last game.” Kayleigh was able to end the tournament off with a win thanks to all the hard work her and her teammates put in. Hanging out with her team made the weekend very memorable. She exclaimed, “It was so good to be able to celebrate with my team!”
To Kayleigh, Labor-Day means she gets to have more time to get things done. She explained, “It’s important to me because I get an extra day off and I could do more stuff.” Kayleigh really enjoys the break because between sports and school it can get pretty hectic. Regardless of the time it takes, she enjoys the sport more than anything and was thrilled that she got to spend the break doing something she loves.
