Each school year at Sunlake, seniors look forward to watching a beautiful sunrise on the first day of school at the Sunlake football field. Seniors enjoy breakfast, taking pictures with their friends, and socializing and having fun with other Seahawks. On the first day of her senior year, Kate Beaudin spent senior sunrise alongside her best friends. “I spent senior sunrise with my best friends because they are my favorite people.” She said. With senior year approaching, Kate seemed to have a very bittersweet experience being with other students in her class, mentioning that, “Senior sunrise meant the start of our last year and it was so special to see everyone come together and get along.” Kate was able to spend time with her friends and classmates as well as create new memories with them while watching a very pretty sunrise, making the first day of her senior year a memorable day for her and other seniors that went. Being a senior is a very exciting time full of many different events and fun activities. Going into her senior year, Kate looks forward to hanging out with her friends and participating in these fun senior events to top off her last year of high school.
