Sophomore Caleb Israel Quaresma got to represent the drama club during the week of September 9th. You get to, “bring each production to life through the drama club. This is a great club to be in because you get to put together productions and be in a close group of people that all share a passion and love for theater.” Caleb said his favorite thing about the drama club is, “being able to make memories and laugh with everyone.” Caleb also said the that the club is like his “second family.” The thespian community are extremely welcoming and love working together on productions and learning more about their passion for the arts. Caleb said, “As soon as you step through the door, you become a part of our family, we all love and support each other.” Participation in the drama club is an excellent extracurricular activity for college applications and it is also great if you are an inducted thespian. Sunlake holds two shows at the Wesley Chapel’s Center of the Arts, one in the fall and one in the spring. The members are usually the first to get information about the shows that are going to happen that year as well. The drama club is a fantastic way for you to learn more about plays and productions and what goes into them, and it is definitely a club that you should join.
