Makenna Kuethe, who’s a sophomore at Sunlake Highschool just celebrated her sixteenth birthday recently. Her birthday was on September 18, which happened to be on a Wednesday. Unfortunately since it was a school day, Makenna had to attend school and wasn’t allowed to miss. Although she had to attend school on her birthday, she wasn’t able to celebrate after with all her friends, so after school she spent quality time with her family to celebrate her actual birthday. Since this was such a big birthday for Makenna, she got to celebrate her birthday on the weekend with the rest of her friends and family. They all went to dinner at 3 Corners Pizza and then ended the night by walking around Sparksmans Warf. Makenna said, “Overall it was really fun and I had a good time.” What made this birthday so special to Makenna besides the fact that it was her Sweet Sixteen, was the fact that it was her first birthday where she had an actual party. On all her other birthdays she would just hang out with a small group of people, but this birthday was different. Makenna said the best part about her birthday was, “all the people there to celebrate with me.” Overall Makenna had a great sweet sixteen, and she made some core memories.
