Once a year everyone’s birthday comes around. This week Senior Joel Gonzalez celebrated his 18th birthday. On Monday he celebrated with his family by going to a restaurant and watching a movie. His family went out to eat in Orlando and then went to Disney’s theatre. They drove all the way to Orlando to make sure to celebrate Joel’s birthday with his whole family. At the theatre, they watched the new, “Alien” movie. Joel said that he enjoyed the movie and that it was, “great.” With his friends, he celebrated his birthday over the weekend instead of during the week due to school. For his celebration with his friends, he went to the Chili’s restaurant and then after, he went to the Hallow Scream event at Busch Gardens in Tampa. Joel and his friends enjoyed both parts of the birthday party a lot. Joel’s favorite part of his birthday was his friend, “Ariel being scared of the haunted houses.” While saying that this birthday was not special compared to other birthdays, Joel still enjoyed it a lot with the people who were there to celebrate him. His favorite birthday present that he got this year was the video game, “2k25.”
