Cadyn Larscheid is senior at Sunlake high school and a proud member of the yearbook staff. Yearbook staffers go to a lot of different events to capture school spirit, so when she was out taking photos of a seemingly ordinary football game, Cadyn was pleasantly surprised when all of a sudden her boyfriend, Michel Capdevila, popped out with an amazing homecoming proposal. “I was a little suspicious,” Cadyn recalled. “Because everybody was asking if I was going to stay the whole game.” But she wasn’t exactly sure what was going to happen. At the end of the game Michel asked Cadyn for a photo with her and that’s when the plan was set into action. His friends quietly came up behind the two with signs and flowers. Cadyn turned around was greeted with pink signs, photos of the two of them and a question, “Will you be my date you Hoco?”
“The way he did it was so sweet and I was so happy” Cadyn said. Since Cadyn has a hobby for photography, Michel made sure to set the Hoco proposal theme to something that Cadyn loved. He wrote, “Can you picture us together at Hoco?” and used pictures of them to make the letter O’s. In the end it was a successful night and romance filled the air. Cadyn and Michel went to Homecoming and dinner and were super happy to be by each others’ side.
