Sophomore, Lieanna Clark is a cheerleader on the varsity Sunlake cheer team. She got to cheer and show her school spirit to all the sport teams and have fun before the upcoming homecoming game and dance. There are many activities at the pep rally such as balloon games, musical chairs, and a searching interactive game with the crowd and the participants in the game. Lieanna enjoys cheering and said the pep rally, “was really fun.” Lieanna’s favorite cheer is “get down, get rough, get mean.” She also said, “performing is my favorite thing to do.” There were tons of people that enjoyed and participated in the pep rally. Lieanna said, “it was fun to watch all the grades come together to have fun.” This is such a fun event to cheer on our school teams, watch the games, and come together as a school to celebrate before the homecoming game and homecoming dance. Lieanna liked, “Dancing to the songs that the band members played or doing our dance at the beginning of the pep rally.” Overall, the pep rally is a great event where we can all have fun, show school spirit, and celebrate the upcoming events that are happening here at Sunlake.

Katie Kraszka, Staffer
My name is Katie Kraszka, and I am a sophomore at Sunlake! This is my first year as a staffer for the 2024-2025 yearbook and school newspaper. I love writing stories about the students at our school and any events we have here. I love spending time with my friends, family and going to the gym. I am excited to work on more articles as the year continues and learn more about what goes into our school's yearbook!

Hey, my name's Ryan Carbonneau and I work as a photographer and writer for The Perch and Sunlake's Yearbook production. I love music, writing, and (despite not being good at it) art. I'm really glad to be a part of a production that combines some of these things. I'm hoping to capture as much of the meaningful moments of the school year I can so when we look back, it's the good stuff we want to have physical reminders of. I'm excited to continue in the yearbook and newspaper here at Sunlake until senior year. I plan to go to UCF for college and major either in photography or statistics.
