Sophomore Mara Crockett attended Trick or Treat around the track on Saturday October 26th to volunteer at two booths. One was student council since she is treasurer for class of 2027. She also volunteered at the soccer booth. She exclaimed, “Trick or treating around the track was so much fun! I’m so glad that I am able to hand out candy to little kids dressed up and earn volunteer hours in return.” Mara had the kids kick the soccer ball into the net for them to earn some candy. This game was one of the most popular and a fan favorite. Another booth that was getting loads of attention was the golf at the sophomore student council booth. Mara thought it was cool to see the kids try out soccer and golf. There were many different booths from various clubs and sports, but she loved how positive the environment was since they got the opportunity to brighten up kids’ day with Halloween fun. The adrenaline kids have for Halloween is immaculate. The memories from Halloween, from dressing up in your favorite character and going trick or treating with your family or friends, will last a lifetime. Mara’s positive attitude leaves an impact on kids’ childhood Halloween memories for the better.
