On a sunny Saturday morning at Sunlake High School many families came to experience the annual Trick-or-Treat Around the Track event. Many different students ran booths that were either for a club or a class at the school. Sophomores and members of the student council, Annele Castillo and Audrina Amador ran the Sunlake Class of 2027 booth along with other members of the class of 2027 student council. They woke up bright and early to help set up the booth with a class of 2027 banner that had a surfboard and floral letters on it to fit their class theme. In addition to this they added some music with a speaker, a mini golf game, and of course, some candy. When asked about different interactions with trick-or-treaters, Audrina responded, “They loved our golf game. Last year, we had corn-hole so it was a little bit more difficult. But easier, and more kid friendly games are the way to go.” While running the booth and interacting with the trick-or-treaters, they also had the time to interact with other students. “I really liked the class of 2026 and their costumes,” Mentioned Annele, “They all dressed up as different Care Bears and I thought that was so creative and fun, also, the little kids really liked their costumes so that was a plus.” In the end, both Audrina and Annele had an extremely fun time at Trick-or-Treat Around the Track, and are already looking forward to next year’s fun!
