Sebastian Perez, senior, took the field on November 1st, getting to celebrate Senior Night with his friends and teammates. Sebastian is a legendary football player at Sunlake, and he was very thankful to be apart of this special night. After the game, Sebastian said, “I was feeling very emotional and very privileged to play one last time with my brothers on this field.” Not to mention, the outcome of the game was spectacular resulting in a Seahawks win. Sebastian said, “I feel proud of my brothers because we played amazing that night.”

Sebastian is a super dedicated player, and he really loves football and sports. “Football has changed my life in so many ways, and I will be eternally grateful for it.” During the game, Sebastian played with heart and grit. Not just for his teammates and school, but for another reason. “My mom passed away due to lung cancer. I hope she’s proud of me. I played that game for her, I played with aggression with a kind heart just how she taught me.”

At the end of the day, Sebastian is a spectacular player and an awesome person, and he is an inspiration to everyone who knows him.
