Sunlake High’s Homecoming this year was a night to remember, especially for junior Damian Wadlington. From start to finish, the event was packed with energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Before heading to the dance, Damian took time to dress up and snap some pictures. “I got dressed and took pictures so my family can see the homecoming outfit,” he said. After capturing those memories, it was off to the main event. Damian arrived about half an hour after the dance started, but he made sure to make the most of his time. He stayed until the very end, soaking in every beat and every moment. “Homecoming was a lot of fun, and I will definitely go again next year,” he shared enthusiastically. One of Damian’s favorite memories was being at the center of a dance circle with friends. “Singing along to the songs while everyone danced around me was amazing,” he said, describing the thrill of being surrounded by the energy of his peers. After the night ended, Damian and his friends weren’t quite ready to let the fun go. “Many of my friends and I went to a nearby gas station to calm down and talk for a bit,” he said. It was the perfect way to wind down after a night of dancing and excitement. Overall, Damian summed it up simply: “I loved HOCO and it was a great experience.”
