“Homecoming this year was really fun. It was nice to finally go after putting it off for three years,” said Brayden Allen, a senior here at Sunlake. He was one of the many people who attended Homecoming this year. “I was eager to go. This is my senior year and my first and last Homecoming.” To prepare, Brayden bought a new shirt, pants and a tie, but he borrowed a jacket from his grandfather. He and his friends decided to meet up during the dance.
Navigating the dance was easy according to Brayden. “The crowds were manageable, and it was easy to get around. It was clear where everything was.” Everyone was happy to be at the dance and seemed to be enjoying themselves. “The crowd was energetic. People were active and tireless.” Brayden was able to meet up with his friends and talked to some new ones too. “Everyone I know said that Homecoming was really fun this year. No one had any significant complaints, we all had a great time,” Brayden said.
“I strongly recommend that people who are unsure of going to go in coming years.”
