Brenan Finan is a senior at Sunlake High School. He’s described his time at Sunlake as, “Good, it really contributed to my character development and helped me grow as a person. I learned a lot from the coaches and definitely developed perseverance. I still had fun playing alongside my teammates through ups and downs.” Brenan has done a lot of fun stuff at Sunlake as well as participating in football and playing offensive tackle. He has learned a lot and this was his last year doing it. Seniors always do a walk down the field to honor their last home game. Overall, Brenan said, “My experience on Senior Night was amazing. We played well and I had a lot of fun playing with my teammates for the last time on that field. We also set many school records in the rushing game so it was an unforgettable night.” The walk down the field is the most important part of senior night commemorating and celebrating your last home game. Brenan was able to participate and walk with his parents and said, “It’s crazy to think my time as a Seahawk was almost up. It was a a great feeling to walk out with my parents who have supported me throughout my high school years. I’m excited for what the future holds but I’m also thankful for those who have supported me through the years.” Overall the Senior Night aspect meant a lot to Brenan, and the huge result against Cypress made it even better. He finally said, “It was a great feeling beating Cypress Creek in the fashion we did. I couldn’t have asked for a better senior night with my teammates.

Nathan Atiyeh, Associate Design Editor
Hi, I'm Nathan Atiyeh, the Associate Design Editor for the yearbook and writer for the Sunlake student newspaper. I have been doing yearbook for two years now and it's a very fun class to be a part of. This class has taught me some great skills such as time management, writing skills, and how to do professional interviews. I've also met some great people and friends through the class as well. In my first year I was a writer for Sunlake's newspaper but now this year I'm the Associate Design Editor for the yearbook in addition to being a writer. I'm very excited about what this year's yearbook will turn out to be and hope it's our best yet.
