Every year Seahawks count down to the next Homecoming because of how memorable and exciting the night is. From the dress up days based on each year’s theme, which was Seahawks under the sea, and one of the biggest most popular football games of the season leading up to the big dance. Freshman Josie Deats had the best night with her friends Remi Derkevicks, Ava Haulk, Sophia Schopke, Ellie Perez, Charlotte Stryker, Bailee Whitfield, and many others. Before Homecoming, Josie and her friends got together to make flower bouquets and take pictures.  Josie’s hobby is dancing; it is her passion, and she loves it. Her passion and hobby being dancing made the night a blast because she can show her friends all the cool moves she knows. Being able to hangout and dance with her friends was Josie’s favorite moment of the entire night. “My favorite song was ‘Fein’ because it was the song that everyone loved,” She said. The atmosphere has a lot to do with how enjoyable the night is. These various surprises included confetti covering the floors, and the Dj playing fan-favorite songs like “Fein.” Josie said, “this was my first homecoming, and I had so much fun participating in all the events. It was a nice ending to the week and attending the dance with all my friends.” ‘Till next year’s Homecoming!
