Homecoming was a fun experience for most people. There was music, lights and friends which created a fun-filled atmosphere. You could say the same thing for Shelby Kerr, a senior at Sunlake High School. Shelby loves to play lacrosse and hang out with friends. On the night of homecoming, Shelby hung out with friends and even made new ones such as Keeley Yarbrough. Shelby said that she loved, “…talking to my friends and dancing…” and that she loves having a great time and being able to be the fun person that she is. The best part about homecoming for her was, “…taking pictures…” with the digital camera that she brought to the dance. Unfortunately, the worst part about homecoming was her heels. She had, “…blisters for days.” She also stated that the music the DJ played was decent but, it definitely, “…could have been better…” She also mentioned that the Homecoming atmosphere was through the roof, stating that it was, “…fun…” and that she, “…really liked it.” Shelby stated that the confetti in the gym was also a nice touch. Overall, Shelby had an awesome time and loved the Homecoming dance as well as the atmosphere.
