The drama club is a very interesting club and it might sound like it is easy, but in reality the preparation for everything they do can be quite complicated. They have to do a lot of things, such as setting everything up, multiple practices, choosing roles, and all of that while also trying to focus on their school work. Mia Young is a junior at Sunlake High School. She worked really hard for the drama showcase and she did well. Her experience at the drama showcase was just great. She said, “My experience at the drama showcase was really good. I was in three of the 17 acts and I had a fun time performing in all of them.”
Making the show fun and making sure people to like it also comes with a lot of hard work and experience. Mia worked really hard for this purpose. She explained that it is not an easy thing to do, but fortunately hard work paid off and everything ended up going as planned. She stated, “I got my first standing ovation for my solo, which closed the show. Getting an audience to give you a standing ovation is a really hard thing to do, so I am proud that I was able to get one. Everything also did go as planned for the most part.”
