Ziv Biennium had his last football game as a senior! “My last home game at Sunlake was an emotional experience. Knowing it was the final time I would step onto that field with my teammates made us all more determined than ever to secure a win,” he said. Ziv entered the game with a strong sense of confidence, ready to give it his all and leave everything on the field. He stated that, “This year has been special for us as a team, with the best chemistry we’ve had in my four years, and we’ve accumulated the most wins in that time. It felt amazing to be part of such a hardworking, close-knit group, and I hope that the mindset and will to win that we cultivated will stay with the team for years to come.” Ziv had a time where he wanted to quit and explained that, “I was frustrated and tired with the sport.” His father encouraged him to stick with it and and pushed him to keep going to practice, and ever since that moment he never looked back. “I’m grateful that I stayed with football and taught me the importance of accountability and chemistry and these lessons apply to more then just the field but the principles that will help the team as they move forward in life. The final game brought a wave of emotions, from excitement to sadness. While I’m sad to leave this chapter behind, I’m excited to see the future of my teammates and how they continue to grow.”
