Madylena Perez a senior at Sunlake High School, is the team captain of the girls’ Soccer team. November 11 the girls’ soccer team won in their huge rivalry game against Land O’Lakes High school. Mady scored the 4th goal in the big game to give her team their last and final point of the night. She prepared for her game by hydrating with her special drink called Drip Drop and ate a healthy meal from Fresh Kitchen. A little before the game started Mady and the rest of the team captains led the team to warmup and stretch to get ready for the big game. Mady said, “The best part of the game for me was winning against Vicky King.” She thought the game went really well and how it was nice playing against all her friends from club soccer. She also got to play against a few friends she grew up with in middle school which was nice. As a team captain Mady said, “I think my team can improve on communicating better, “yet her team does a great job of getting along and having fun. Mady and her team though it was a pretty easy win and the other team wasn’t really hard to beat. Overall Mady had a great game and said, “It was great game to end my last rivalry game.”
