In the beginning of the year, there’s always a night to remember. Homecoming is a special dance where everyone gets together for music, food, and spending time with friends. Ariel Ahumada is a junior that attended Homecoming this year with more excitement than any time before. “My favorite part of Homecoming this year was getting to go with a big group of friends and getting to dance with them and enjoy my time,” she said. Ariel prepared for homecoming by getting ready with a group of friends. She said, “It was really fun, and I’ll probably do it again next year.”
Since she was not able to make it to Homecoming last year, she felt even more excitement going to this year’s homecoming. “I couldn’t wait to see all the people I knew! I even arrived right when it started and stayed until the very end,” she shared. Near the end of the night, Ariel and her friends were dancing so much they did not care if it looked silly, it felt incredibly fun and genuine. “This Homecoming was so fun. I liked how they added a light show and the music and food was good. I was exhausted afterwards, but in the way that I knew I had a great night.”
