On December 18th, the girls basketball team at Sunlake High School played a game. A sophomore on the varsity team, named Audrina Amador spoke her truth about the game. First off, the game was Sunlake against Zephyrhills Highschool. Sunlake won by 43-20! Moving on, Audrina was asked about how she believed her performance was during the game. She stated, “I felt like my performance was decent. I definitely could’ve played better, but I did what I could. In my opinion though, it was a little difficult because I felt like the shooting guards was the toughest opponent.” Now, even though Audrina stated she could’ve played better, she did score about 3-4 points during the game, and that is honestly amazing! Another question she was asked was if there are any standout players on the team, which she responded with, “Yes there is standout players, Cherity Powells and Kaycie Hyde. They always do really good.” Audrina spoke about the most memorable moment in the game. She said, “I would say winning from that much, I thought it was fun and exciting.” Give a round of applause for the girls basketball team.Keep up the outstanding work!
