This year, New Years day fell on a Wednesday. Many people celebrate the new year with family and friends. Senior, Noah Sagnip enjoyed his New Years with both. Many people make resolutions for the New Year and how they want to improve themselves and make the year a better year than the last. When asked about what his New Year resolution for the New Year was, Noah said, “Make double the money in my bank account and become a better person for myself and other people.” Noah learned a lot from the previous year but there’s always more to learn each year. “Last year was filled with ups and downs, success and failures, but I learned the most about facing adversity and persevering though my toughest obstacles.” Throughout New Years Day, Noah did a lot of different things to celebrate like light fireworks and hang out with friends and family. “To celebrate, I went to hangout with my friends first. My friend was throwing a party so I enjoyed gathering with a lot of my friends. After that I went to my aunts house to light fireworks on her boat. After that I went back to friends house to finish up the night.” When asked about what he did on New Years Day he said, “I mostly stayed home and cleaned up the house. We took apart the entire couch and I cleaned my room to start the new year fresh. After that I went out to play pickleball with my friends.” Noah hopes to make the most out of this New Year by setting new goals and accomplishing them one by one.
