On January 6th, the Sunlake Boys Basketball team didn’t have the best game against Gaither High School. They tried their hardest though, and that is all that matters. A senior on varsity, named Nelson Marshall decided to share his opinion about the game. He was asked how the game went on the 6th, to which he stated, “The game against Gaither High School didn’t go how we wanted to, but, we still played a good game against a tough team. Unfortunately, we did end up loosing the game by 79-65. We started the game off really slow.” Than he was asked how he believed he played during the game, and he responded with, “I believe I played a decent game, but there’s always room for improvement.” He said, “The coach wasn’t happy with the outcome, but he made adjustments to prepare for the next upcoming game.” Even though Sunlake lost this game, it makes them stronger as a team, and gives them more room to grow and become better for every other game they have coming. Good job Sunlake!
