As everyone knows, the new year of 2025 has started, and as the New Year starts, everyone has their new year resolutions. A junior at Sunlake High School named Zara Gonzalez shared her new year resolutions. She was asked a couple of questions and this is how she responded to them. She was asked what were her top three New Year’s resolutions for this year, which she responded with, “I’d say my top three New Year’s resolution this year is be a little kinder to everyone this year because I feel like everybody needs a little bit more kindness in their lives. My second one is to focus a lot more on myself, for example like my personal growth and my school growth, and than my last one

is to mind my own business, like be in my own world, stay out of trouble, and stay out of gossip” She was also asked if there were any specific goals she wants to achieve in the first quarter in the year, and she stated, “I want to end the school year off really well. So far I have a 4.3 GPA for the first semester, I want to stay motivated during school and motivating for my sport which is tennis.” All in all, Zara has great plans for the new year. She knows exactly what she wants in the future, and what her goals are for the new year.
