Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has been a staple for students looking to develop leadership skills, explore careers, and connect with like-minded peers. After the club meeting, when asked why he joined FBLA, Kodes Young, sophomore, stated ” I joined FBLA because I wanted to explore different career paths and develop skills like public speaking and teamwork. And I thought it was a good way to get out my comfort zone.” Kodes was also asked what his  first impressions were, he stated, ” I was a little overwhelmed at first. but the officers did a great job at explaining everything.” It’s good that the officers explained everything and made it less overwhelming. When questioned on how FBLA could help him in his future career, he said it can help him improve on his leadership and communication skills. Those are two great qualities to gain for a career. Lastly, Kodes was asked if he would recommend FBLA to other students and he stated, “Yes, FBLA teaches you skills that will help in any field of work.” FBLA is a great opportunity for students to grow both personally and professionally.
