On January 15th, 2025 the Sunlake Boys’ Soccer Team played their last home game. Nathan Laws is a senior on the team and feels that they played well during Senior Night. “I feel that us seniors have a sort of chemistry that helped us come out on top.” Even though the team struggled against these opponents earlier in the season, they were able to beat them 4-2. According to Nathan, his team is super strong. “I mean we have some of the best players around and it’s always a good time to go out and play at practice and games.” Nathan Laws said that he hopes to study engineering somewhere in Florida and does not plan to play soccer after high school. Sadly, he said that he will miss playing with his team. “It’s always a great time to go out and have fun with them no matter if it’s on or off the field.” Overall Senior Night went very well. “The parents really went all out for us. They set up signs and everything and it was a great time.” The parents even framed the seniors’ jerseys for them to keep. Let’s all wish our soccer seniors good luck for their future after high school.
