Allyson Rapp is a Junior at Sunlake High School. She has said throughout her time at Sunlake that “I’ve had a really good experience at Sunlake. I love being able to play on a team with people I normally wouldn’t be able to and it’s a fun way to be involved in the school.” Along with her great experience, it has been being a part of the soccer team that has made Sunlake a good time. She currently is playing on the Varsity team and has been playing for the school for 3 years now. With Sunlake girls Varsity performing so well in the regular season, they had the chance to participate in the district playoffs. It meant a lot to Allyson, saying, “Playing in districts felt like a great opportunity but it was disappointing not to win. However, it’s always a good game and playing against good competition is pretty fun.” With Sunlake unfortunately not winning, she thought her overall performance in the game was, “I think I performed well because great coaches and talented teammates supported me. There’s always room to get better, especially playing new or different positions.” With districts being over and now Sunlake competing for regionals, there’s been a lot to reflect on from this season and obviously some great memories made. Allyson said her favorite memory was this season, “Travelling to Riverview, Sarasota winning our game then celebrating back home on the bus with music and food with my teammates.”

Nathan Atiyeh, Marketing and Sales/ Head Section Editor
Hi there, I am Nathan Atiyeh. I have been on the Sunlake Yearbook staff for 3 years now. I started as a normal staffer my sophomore year, and my junior year, I was associate design editor. Now my role for my senior year is that I’m Head Section Editor, as well as Marketing and Sales Editor. I joined the yearbook because I enjoyed Digital Design 1, and when a Yearbook class was mentioned, it caught my eye, and now I’m three years in on the staff. I am hoping that this year, for my senior year, this will be one of our best yearbooks we’ve ever created.
