Senior Dominic Italiano committed to Hillsborough Community College on February 5th, 2025. Dominic has been playing baseball for almost his entire life. He has been playing for 15 years since the age of 3. He has always had a love for baseball, and over the years, he has grown his confidence in playing, which makes it even more fun to compete with. Dominic decided to go to Hillsborough Community College because, “It’s close to home and I’ll go there and immediately start.” During signing day, the process was pretty easy and not complicated at all. Dominic sat next to two of his other teammates, Wyatt Dion and Matthew Anthony. Coach Stambek gave a little speech/introduction to these three boys, and then Dominic waited a little bit to sign. Dominic was accompanied by his mom, stepdad, sister, best friend Bradley, and the majority of the baseball team. Dominic said the best part was “being congratulated for all the work you’ve put in,” which made him feel so nice and appreciated. Although Dominic is so ready for this next chapter of his life, it is crazy that high school is coming to an end.
