Kayla’s strategy was “to play with a high attacking line.” She shared a standout moment came in the final moments when her teammate “Jaeda scored in the last 20 seconds.” Reflecting on their overall performance, not noted, “Overall, we played as a team.” The mental pressure was on. Kayla’s biggest struggle was “not being able to get the thought of losing out of my head.” To stay calm, she stuck to her routine: “I just did more normal everyday game day routines.” Kayla handled the pressure incredibly. She pretended it was a normal game.” For district finals, teamwork is crucial. Looking ahead, her goals are clear: “Make it to state championships.” This experience has fueled their determination. “It will motivate the team to make it even farther next year,” she concluded.
