Wyatt Dion is a Senior who plays for our Sunlake baseball team. During the spring you often hear the “ping” of a bat making contact with the baseball. But not when Wyatt Dion is on the mound. Wyatt is a left handed pitcher for the Seahawks. “Pitching is the most fun part of baseball and without me the game wouldn’t happen.” Wyatt has been playing since he was six-years-old. “Well I wanted to play football but my mom never let me, so I decided on baseball.” Wyatt says he likes being apart of a team because of his fellow players who entertain each other throughout the game. Wyatt is planning on playing in college at the University of Central Florida next year. Let’s all cheer on Wyatt as he brings the heat for the Seahawks.
