Noah Sagnip, a baseball player on Sunlake High School’s varsity team for the past two years playing first base, but has been playing baseball since he was four years old, it was one of the first of many sports Noah has participated in. “… i started to have an interest in baseball because i saw my older brother really seemed to enjoy it, leading me to follow in his footsteps.” says Noah. Noah’s decision to play on the High School team was to be with his friends and represent his school. Sunlake isn’t the only team Noah plays on; he also plays travel ball in the summer for Empire Baseball.
For the entirety of Noah’s high school career, he has suffered from various injuries on the field causing him to miss out on many games and seasons. With the injuries Noah obtained from baseball with elbow problems, a torn meniscus, and a pulled hamstring he is now healthy and hoping to finish his senior season on a good note. Looking into the future Noah states, “…As of right now, I do not want to play baseball in college due to the number of injuries I have had.” let’s hope Noah will be able to recover and become the best version of himself.
