
Brady Lasiewski is a Junior on the Sunlake varsity Baseball team had a great game against Wiregrass Ranch. Sunlake played Wiregrass Ranch on February 20th and ended up winning the game 2-0. Brady plays as a DH on the Sunlake varsity baseball team, which stands for designated hitter. Although no crazy special plays were made that night, the team had a great game and worked hard. Brady contributed greatly to the game by scoring one run on a single by Lucas Zarlenga. Brady said, “The best part about the game was winning”. This win was special to them because it was the first home game. He also says, “This win helped our team bond as we won our home opener.” The sunlake baseball team was very confident that they would come out with a win, yet they still gave it their all. Brady feels that, “Something i could improve on from this game would be striking out less.” Brady and the team were really appreciative to all the people who came to watch there first home game. He said, “Our fans really showed out and i speak on half of the team when i say we really appreciate it.” Overall it was a great game and made the sunlake baseball teams bond stronger.
