Senior Noah Sagnip is a very active student in his community and school community. He participates in many clubs and school events, one being key club. Key club is a club that teaches leadership through service to others. It’s a really helpful club to get community service hours. It was finally here-DCON, the District Convention. Representing his school, he was so excited for this event to finally be here. It’s the biggest event for all the Key Club members. Noah main goal he said, “To meet connection and network with people I can use in my professional life.” Noah and a few of his fellow members listened to different speakers, meetings, and hung out with other people from different schools to share their ideas. Held at a beautiful venue, DCON brought together Key Club members from all over the district for a weekend of workshops, team-building activities, and community service projects. For Noah, it was a chance to connect with like-minded students who shared his passion for service and leadership. From the moment he arrived, he was immersed in an atmosphere of positivity, enthusiasm, and camaraderie. One of the highlights for Noah was the chance to attend workshops led by experienced Key Club leaders. These sessions covered a wide range of topics—from effective leadership strategies to ways to make a tangible impact in the community. Noah was particularly inspired by the workshop on leadership and advocacy, where he learned how to use his voice to make meaningful change in his school and community. “It was eye-opening to see how much one person can do when they’re driven and passionate,” Noah said.

When Noah returned from DCON, he was filled with inspiration and a renewed sense of purpose. He brought back not just new leadership skills and friends, but also a deeper understanding of what it means to be part of something bigger than himself. As he looks forward to his final year in Key Club, Noah is determined to continue spreading positivity and service to his school and community, keeping the lessons he learned at DCON close to his heart.
