Seniors from Sunlake High School joined thousands of students from across Florida for a night of thrills and memories at Grad Bash, Universal Studios’ annual senior celebration. The event, designed exclusively for high school seniors, allows students to explore both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure after hours, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience to mark the end of their high school journey. For Sunlake senior Jack Svendgard, the trip was a highlight of his senior year. “It was a lot of fun,” Jack said. “Being there with all my friends felt amazing. There was a great sense of community between all the seniors at the park, especially with graduation coming up.” Students spent the evening riding world-famous attractions, eating at park restaurants, and mingling with seniors from other schools across the state. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as music played, lights flashed, and memories were made around every corner. Jack’s favorite moment came early in the night. “My favorite part was at the beginning of the day,” he shared. “We went on the VelociCoaster, and it was so much fun to see my friends—some of whom had never been on it—scream their hearts out. That made it even more fun.” Throughout the night, seniors were free to explore the parks, bond with classmates, and enjoy their last few weeks together before graduation. Jack summed it up best: “We went on rides, ate food, saw people from other schools—it was a day full of new experiences, and I loved that.”

As the Class of 2025 counts down to graduation, Grad Bash offered a chance to celebrate friendship, freedom, and the future—all in one unforgettable night.
