For Abby Menard, Senior; Grad Bash at Universal Studios was more than just a senior celebration, it was a night full of unexpected memories and nonstop adventure. “I was so excited” Abby said. “I couldn’t wait to create new memories and make the most out of the night.” “There was so much joy everywhere,” Abby recalled. “Everyone was sharing the night with their closest friends and just having a good time.” Even though Abby just came with one close friend, the night quickly sparked new friendships. “We ended up meeting some great people along the way and eventually met up with a few more friends later in the night,” she explained. The highlight of the trip? Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. “The queue was so cool and interactive, the ride itself was fun and fast with so much detail. You couldn’t pay me enough to never go on it again!” Abby had some luck with timing during her trek to different rides too. “Being first in line for ‘The Mummy’ was definitely one of the most memorable parts of the night.” With the clocks ticking and rides calling their name, food took a backseat. “We were so busy riding everything we could, we only stopped for chicken tenders,” but that didn’t disappoint Abby, “they were amazing,” she said. Abby says she celebrated the night by “Trying to just live in the moment and not taking the night for granted.” If Abby could do it all over again, only one thing would change. “I would bring a blanket and a hoodie for the bus,” she laughed. “It was so cold I couldn’t sleep.” As for advice for future seniors? “Don’t spend the whole night on your phone,” she said. “Be present in the moment and make friends with the people around you… and bring a blanket on the bus.”
