As graduation day gets closer, one of the most exciting events of senior year approaches. Grad Bash is when students come together at Universal Studios for one final blast. Grad Bash 2025 wasn’t just an event, it was the celebration every senior had been waiting for. Makayla Edwards is a senior at Sunlake High School who had the time of her life that night. “For me, the most memorable moments from Grad Bash were the drive there, and how many rides we got to go on,” Makayla exclaimed. Since the lines where long and many people had waited hours, they weren’t sure if they where gonna ride a lot of rides. “I’m just happy we didn’t have to wait the long lines, and we also got to experience the two different parks which was really cool,” She said. Out of the two rides, she couldn’t choose whether she loved the Hulk or the Mummy more. “The Hulk was really fun because I’ve never been on it and I thought it was going to be super scary, but it wasn’t.” She adds, “The Mummy is just my all time favorite ride when I go to Universal.”

As more time passed, there was a bittersweet realization that this chapter of their lives is coming to an end, and it created a new sense of appreciation for the moment. “It’s such a weird feeling because I know I’m never going to have such a big event with my classmates after we graduate,” Makayla says. After years of hard work paying off, Grad Bash topped it all. “It was so relieving. I got to get a break from school and hang out with my friends after some much work being done,” She states. “I would so recommend Grad Bash for future seniors because it’s so worth it. I got to meet new people and experienced such an unforgettable night,” Makayla shares.
