Joining the yearbook staff is an exciting experience full of opportunities. Lots of staffers entered the yearbook team this year, one of them being Junior Lexi Vitale. In her own words, “It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and grow my digital design skills.” Lexi is determined to make the most of this year. She’s already learned a lot, even in only a few short weeks, and wants to use the lessons she’s learned to improve and succeed in providing a great yearbook for her team and the entire school this year.
Lexi was asked what she was looking forward to the most this year in yearbook. “I’m looking forward to being part of a great team. The people here are very nice.” Lexi and the other staffers all received a warm welcome from the editors and were taught the basics of being a part of the team.

Even with only 2 weeks of yearbook class under her belt, she looks to the future of what could be. Lexi was asked if there were any school events later in the year she would like to cover. She stated that she would most want to cover the 2025 homecoming dance. “It would be a fun experience.”
Lexi is ready for the challenges that come with being a part of the yearbook staff. Her and all the new staffers are sure to learn a lot this year. They’ll collaborate, write, take and take pictures for a great new yearbook this year. For Lexi, she’ll certainly be reaching for a position that will let her showcase her digital design skills.
