Starting the new 2025-2026 school year at Sunlake High School, we have Preslee Crane, a Sophomore, who’s already ready to go home. With the first few weeks in the book, Preslee has already decided that Algebra 2 is on the stake, “because it’s math,” she says. Although, she says that she always looks forward to her second period, Ms. Wests’ class, Musical Theatre, a fun place where she can be her true self and enjoy the company of her friends, another highlight of her day. Preslee also has a lot fun hobbies! Preslee says that after getting hours of homework done after school, she plays board games and write stories for fun .Thanks to her time passers, she in the Table Top Games club, where she was voted Vice President of the club, Drama club, and the Pasco County Sheriff Forensic Explorer, a program outside of school.

When asked what are some academic goals she has, Preslee already has it planned out. She’s motivated to get straight A’s so she can go to college and study to become a forensic Psychologist, normal Psychologist, or even the military! She’s excited for for the Sunlake Theatre Departments stage productions of As You Like It by William Shakespeare, where she intends to volunteer to assist in tech, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat, by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, a musical that she intends to audition for. She’s also excited for the end of the School year and to get to know her new friends, although their only in some of her classes. Yet, with all positive things, there’s also the negative. When questioned on what things Preslee would be dreading her sophomore year, she response with the popular response among students, SATs and school. Due to the fact that sophomore year is one of the most important years high school. Preslee is already done with school and wants to go home.
