Mckenzie Richardson was filled with so many emotions when entering her senior year. Mckenzie was excited, nervous, but also sad. Mckenzie woke up and got ready for her last, first day of high school. Mckenzie arrived at school super early. She met up with all her friends. Mckenzie states, “I was so excited to see everyone, it’s been so long since I saw most of these people.” Mckenzie and her friends walked over to the football field for senior sunrise. Senior Sunrise is an event for all seniors to kick off the start of their senior year. All the seniors gathered on the football field, took pictures with their friends, hung out, and ate some breakfast. They had Chick-fil-A breakfast, doughnuts, and fruit cups. Mckenzie was so grateful to all the parents who put in all the work to make this morning unforgettable. Mckenzie states, “The parents worked so hard to make this morning so amazing for us.” After some good food, cute pictures, and a bunch of laughs. The bell rang, and the fun was over. It started to set in for Mckenzie that school was back, but for the last time. It was time for Mckenzie to go to her first class of the day. Mckenzie was excited, as a senior, she only had to be at school for three periods. She was hopeful that she would get to meet new people and make new friends in her classes. Mckenzie is so excited to see what her senior year is gonna be filled with and is hopeful that this will be her best year yet.
